Description
The OCS Engineer will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Develop and prepare OCS layouts, sectionalize diagrams, general arrangements, assembly details, specifications, cost estimates and construction schedules on major rail transit projects.
Periodic field inspection of OCS installations, resolution of OCS related field problems, testing and certification of OCS for acceptance and integrated testing involving Traction Power and other related systems.
Supervise Jr. OCS Engineers.
Coordinate and supervise CADD Operators during preparation of design drawings.
Periodic travel to project offices and work sites. |

Experience Required:
B.S. in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET Accredited College Curriculum.
Engineer-In-Training Certificate from State Board.
PE License (or ability to obtain within 2 years).
5+ years experience in OCS Design.
Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, etc.).
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation. (Proficiency with these CADD programs a plus).
Willingness to travel to various Project Offices, as necessary. |
