Description
Successful candidate will provide complete cost estimates for large Federal, State and Local government capital projects, will work with Project Managers, construction project management Schedulers, Project Engineers and Inspectors. Duties are as follows:
Provide check estimates of General Contractors change order proposals
Detailed take-off estimates as required for at risk, hard bid contracts
Provide cost estimates for all Construction Specification Institute divisions and UNIFORMAT.
Provide narrative analysis when required
Prepare pre-design phase concept estimates, design phase budget estimates and procurement phase funding estimates.
Will also communicate with clients, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors and vendors. |

Experience Required:
BS Degree in Engineering Technology or other construction engineering discipline
5 years cost estimating experience.
Knowledge of MS Office, Word and Excel.
Strong communication skills ? written and oral. |
